**Job Title: Billing/Coding Specialist**

- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, appealing when necessary.
3. **Compliance and Regulations:**
- Stay current with changes in medical billing and coding regulations, including compliance with HIPAA and other industry standards.
- Ensure that billing practices align with federal, state, and local laws.
4. **Financial Analysis:**
- Monitor accounts receivable and identify areas for revenue improvement.
- Generate financial reports to track billing performance.
5. **Patient Inquiries:**
- Address patient billing inquiries and provide explanations of charges.
- Establish payment plans and assist patients with financial matters.
6. **Collaboration:**
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to resolve billing and coding discrepancies.

**Qualifications:**
- Certification in Medical Billing and Coding.
- Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding systems.
